The Andante Group brings classical music before, during and after the event for an elegant and exciting listening experience. Whether in the large banquet hall or in an intimate garden setting, the sounds of The Andante Group lend a charm and elegance not ordinarily heard from small chamber groups.

The Andante Group includes violin, viola, clarinet, concert-sized electric piano, and vocalist, if desired. Three of our members are members of The Symphony of the Hills. The ensemble of instruments which combines strings, woodwind, and keyboard allows us to play selections ordinarily out of reach for conventional string quartets. Much of our music includes original arrangements written specifically for The Andante Group that permit us to play orchestral selections in addition to expected chamber music pieces. The effect, especially in outdoor settings, is thrilling.

The Andante Group also features music with a vocalist that adds a powerful dimension to weddings and parties. Songs before and/or during the wedding as well as reception music can be heard on this web site and also on our demo CD. As the party shifts from a seated wedding to a reception, our music changes as well. Fun romantic classics from Hollywood and Broadway fill the air as well as popular music and some Country Western.

Sound amplification is an important feature of The Andante Group, as it has been found that people expect a full, rich sound wherever they are, whether it is in their home, concert hall or outdoor setting. Therefore we include a sound system and operator in our basic price so that our sound will be boosted enough to cover the party area, yet not overpower your guests.
